The Women's Federation of SMU

The Women's Federation of SMU(SMUWF),founded in April 1975,is a mass organization working for the whole school women under the leadership of the   school Party committee. It not only provides a link between the government and women, but also works as a way of representing and protecting women's rights and promoting equality between men and women. 

The SMU Women's Congress, convened every three years, is the superior authority for the SMUWF. The 8th Municipal Women's Congress was held in December 2012. A total of 17 members were elected from 85 representatives by voting. The 17 members also elected a director and  three deputy directors .

Currently,ShiJuan is the director of the SMUWF.ZhangChuan,WangHongli,WangYunsong  are deputy directors.ZhuWenjin,SunZhihua,LiHua,XiaoHuiqing,MinXiang,ZongAiqin,ZhangJiangyan(Left school at June,2014),YaoBinqi,GuJiajun,GaoHongli,TanLina are members.
